This guide explains how to power on, turn off, and reboot your Veo Cam, what the rebooting process looks like, and what to do if the reboot doesn’t resolve your issue.
Requirements
- Your Veo Cam at hand
- Access to the Veo Cam app (optional for troubleshooting)
Turning your Veo Cam
- When the camera is off, press and hold the power button for 1 second.
- The status lights will blink. Wait until the LEDs turn solid. The camera is then ready for use.
Turning off your Veo Cam
- While the camera is on, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
- The status lights will blink, just like during power-on.
- After a few seconds, all status lights will turn off.
Rebooting your Veo Cam
When to reboot your Veo Cam
Rebooting your Veo Cam can help resolve several common issues:
- Trouble connecting to the camera via the Veo Cam app
- Problems starting or stopping recordings
- Failure to connect to the internet
- Error indicators, such as flashing lights or a Booting Error, see what the LED lights mean
How to reboot the Veo Cam
- Locate the power button on the back of the camera.
- Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
- Release the button when the LED lights begin blinking. This indicates the camera is rebooting.
- After some seconds, the lights will be solid indicating the camera has completed rebooting and it's ready to connect.

Note
Rebooting your Veo Cam will not delete any saved recordings or data stored on the device.
