How to upload a recording to the Clubhouse from your Veo Cam 1

This article explains how to upload recordings from Veo Cam 1 by connecting it to the internet via Ethernet. It covers automatic and manual uploads, monitoring upload status, upload duration based on internet speed, and Clubhouse admin notifications after upload.

Requirements:

  • Veo Cam 1
  • Ethernet cable
  • Internet connection (router or wall socket)

Step 1: Recordings Are Saved on Your Camera

  • After you finish recording, your video is securely stored on your Veo Cam.
  • The camera can store slightly more than four 90-minute games.

Step 2: Connect Your Camera to the Internet

Recordings stored on your Veo Cam 1 will automatically upload when the camera is powered on and connected to the internet.

  • To connect your Veo Cam 1 to the Internet, use the provided white Ethernet cable. Then, connect the camera to a router or wall outlet with an active Internet connection

After a successful upload to your Veo Clubhouse, the recording will be automatically deleted from your camera to free up space for future matches.


When Manual Upload is Required

In some cases, it's needed to connect to the Veo Cam 1 and manually trigger the upload. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Connect to your Veo Cam 1 through the Veo Web App at cam.veo.co.
  2. Go to the recordings list and find the recording.
  3. Press Upload to start the upload.

⚠️ Note: Manual uploads cannot be initiated via the Veo Camera apps on iOS or Android.


Step 3: Monitor Upload Status

To check your recording's upload status:

  • Connect to your Veo Cam 1.
  • Go to your Recordings list by clicking the bottom left icon on the home page.

Recording statuses include:

  • 1️⃣ Ready for upload: Upload will start automatically once the Ethernet cable is connected.
  • 2️⃣ Buffering: Upload will begin shortly.
  • 3️⃣ Upload: Manual upload is needed. Press Upload manually.

Upload progress will display as a percentage with a green line across the left square.


Upload Duration and Internet Speed

Upload duration depends on your internet connection. A 90-minute match with an upload speed of 20 Mbps typically takes 1.5–2 hours to upload.

Tip: For a smoother experience, ensure your internet connection is stable and sourced directly from a primary connection point.

Note: Once the upload is complete, the Clubhouse admin will receive an email notification, and the recording will automatically begin processing.
