This guide will show you how to create drawings on your Veo recordings to provide visual inputs for your players.
Drawing on screen is an essential tool for coaches. For the best video review experience, coaches can demonstrate key points, reinforce learning, and educate players more effectively with visual aids such as drawings.
You have the flexibility to either create a clip that includes your drawing or simply draw while reviewing without saving it as a clip. This is particularly useful when presenting video analysis to your team.
Here's how to use the drawing tool:
To quickly add a drawing without saving it as a clip, follow these steps:
- Find the Add drawing option in the bottom left corner of your screen.
- You can choose from different drawing tools, such as colors, arrows, shapes, spotlight, freehand drawing, or text. You can also undo, redo, or clear all drawings if needed.
- Once you're done, close the drawing tool by clicking the "X" and continue watching the video.
Note: Drawing without saving as a clip is available on tablet-size screens and larger.
To create a drawing and save it as a Clip, follow these steps:
- Open the Add drawing option in the bottom left corner of your screen.
- Create your drawing.
- Click on the + (Create clip) button. Select a tag, a team, leave a comment if you prefer, choose the Clip visibility and save it.
Please note
The drawing tools are available in Follow-Cam only. It's not possible to create drawings in Interactive Mode
Clips containing drawings will appear in the Clips list. When you play a clip with a drawing, the video will pause, allowing you time to analyze the play and provide feedback to your team. Once you're ready, click play to continue the video.
Please be aware that drawings cannot be downloaded. If you download a clip with a drawing, the drawing will not be visible in the downloaded version.
