Summary

The Share with Opponent feature allows you to share recordings with other teams. Both teams can then access Veo’s basic analysis tools and provide feedback to their players.

Requirements

  • You must be a Team Editor, Team Admin, or Clubhouse Admin to share recordings.
  • Team Contributors do not have permission to share recordings.

What does this mean?

Learn more about Veo roles and permissions here: Roles & Permissions.

How It Works

  • You can share any game by entering the recipient’s email address (must match their Veo account email).
  • If the recipient doesn’t have a Veo account, they will be prompted to create a new Clubhouse to receive the recording.
  • You can share the recording with multiple email addresses.
  • You can revoke access at any time, removing the opponent’s access to the recording and any added analysis.

How to Share a Recording

  1. Go to your Veo Clubhouse at app.veo.co.
  2. Open the game you want to share.
  3. Click on the Share button above the video player.
If you don’t see the Share button, you might not have the necessary permissions.
  4. Select Share with Opponent.
  5. A window will appear where you can enter the email address of the person you want to share the game with.

After sharing, view the list of recipients under View shares at the bottom of the game page. You can also revoke sharing here if needed.

What happens when you Share with Opponent?

Will the opponent get Analytics/Player Spotlight?

  • If both the original clubhouse and the opponent clubhouse have an active Analytics add-on, the data will copy over
  • If one or neither of the teams does not have the add-on, Analytics won't appear on the shared recording

Will the opponent see Clips & Events?

  • The opponent clubhouse will receive AI-generated Clips & Events, but they will not see manually generated ones
  • Comments and tags will not copy over to the opponent clubhouse

Can the opponent create their own Clips & Events?

  • The opponent can create normal Clips & Events on the shared recording
  • The opponent cannot create directed clips from the Interactive Mode on the shared recording

Can the opponent download the recording?

  • As long as the opponent has an active subscription higher than the Starter plan (meaning Team, Family, Club, Club+, or Enterprise), they will be able to download the recording

Please Note

The Share with Opponent feature is different from simply sharing a recording link or URL. Only recordings shared through this feature are imported into the opponent’s Clubhouse.
