This article shows you how to accept an invitation to receive a copy of a recording shared with you via the Share with an Opponent feature.
When someone shares a match with you via the Share with an Opponent feature, you will receive a copy of the Veo recording that you can add to your own Clubhouse.
The shared recording will include:
- AI-generated clips and events.
-
If the original video has the Veo Analytics add-on and you do as well, it will show on your copy.
- If the original video has the Player Spotlight add-on and you do as well, it will show on your copy.
The shared recording will not include:
- Manually created clips, events, or tags from the original video.
- Comments added to the original video.
This will allow you to do your own analysis of the match, download it (if your Subscription plan allows it), and add your own Follow-cam clips to it. (It's not possible to create Directed Clips on a Shared recording)
Steps:
-
When someone shares a recording with you using the Share with Opponent feature, you will receive an invitation at your email address. Press Accept invitation in the email.
-
A new screen will open. Click Accept.
-
If you don’t have a Veo account, you will need to create one to assign the video to. If you’re a Veo user already, make sure the opponent shares the recording to the same email you use for your Veo account and choose your Clubhouse from the drop-down menu.
-
Once you accept the invitation, you can:
- Change the recording’s title.
- Create your own follow-up clips (independently from the original).
- Add comments and tags.
- Share and download it (if your Subscription plan allows it).
You can watch the recording on your Veo Clubhouse at app.veo.co.
Note:
The video owner can stop sharing the recording at any time, if that's the case, you will no longer have access to the game or any related Clips. You will be notified via email, and when you attempt to view the recording, an error message stating 'The invitation could not be loaded' will be displayed.
