This article shows you how to accept an invitation to receive a copy of a recording shared with you via the Share with an opponent feature.
When your opponent shares a match with you via the Share with an opponent feature, you will receive a “fresh” copy of the Veo recording without the other coaches’ comments and tags.
This will allow you to analyze the match, download, and add your own highlights on it.
Here’s how the process goes:
-
When someone shares a recording with you with the Share with opponent feature, you will receive an invitation on your email address. Press Accept invitation in the email.
-
A new screen will open. Click Accept.
-
If you don’t have a Veo account, you will need to create an account and a club to assign the video to. If you’re a Veo user already, and you are a Club Admin simply choose your club from the drop-down menu.
👉🏻 Please be aware that it’s only the Club Admin who can accept and add recordings to existing clubs. If you’re not a club admin, you’ll be asked to create a new separate club.
4. Once you accept the invitation, you can:
- Change the recording’s title.
- Create your own highlights and conversations (independently from the original).
- Share and download it (you get your own link to it).
- Adjust privacy settings (note, the copy can only be public if the original is also public).
You can access shared recordings via app.veo.co or through the link you received in the email at any time.
However, if the video owner revokes the sharing, you can no longer see the game, or any highlights added. You will receive a notification email about this, and the error message ‘The invitation could not be loaded’ will appear when trying to access the recording.
