How to use filters to find clips and events in the Veo Editor

Filters in the Veo Editor help you quickly locate specific clips or events, such as goals, shots, or clips created by specific users. This guide explains how to use both Quick Filters and advanced filtering options in the Filter panel to refine your search.

Using Quick Filters in the Clips Panel

When you open the Clips panel, you’ll see a list of all clips available to you. This can include:

  • AI-generated clips
  • Clips created by you
  • Clips created by others in your team or club

If the list is long, filters can help you find what you're looking for faster.

You’ll see a few Quick Filters directly in the Clips panel:

  • Goals (football only)
  • Shots (football only)
  • By me (clips you’ve created)

These filters provide one-click access to the most commonly searched clip types. Simply click a Quick Filter to view the relevant clips — no need to manually clear filters when switching between them.

📌 Pro tip: Once you’ve applied a filter, the download option will apply only to the filtered clips.

Using Advanced Filters in the Filter Panel

For more refined searches, open the Filter panel. Here, you can combine multiple filter options to narrow down your results.

Filter categories include:

  • Event tags / Event types: Filter by tags in clips or event types in the Events panel
  • Teams: Filter by your team or the opponent
  • Players: Shows players from your team tagged in clips or assigned to events
  • Created by: Filter based on the creator of the clip or event
  • Match periods: Filter by specific parts of the match
  • With comments: Show only clips with or without comments

How Filters Work Together

Across different sections (AND logic):
Selecting filters from different categories narrows results to only those that meet all selected conditions.

Example:

  • "Shots" from Event tags
  • "Own team" from Teams

You’ll see shots made by your own team.

Within the same section (OR logic):
Selecting multiple options from the same section shows results that match any of the selected conditions.

Example:

  • "Goals" and "Shots" from Event tags

You’ll see both types.

Combining both logics:
If you choose:

  • "Goals" and "Shots" from Event tags
  • Multiple players from Players

You’ll see goals and shots by all selected players (as long as they’ve been tagged).

📌 Note:

  • Quick Filters won’t work if you have multiple filters active. Clear current filters to use them again.
  • Filters apply to AI-generated clips only if they’ve been saved.
