How to schedule a recording with Delayed Start on the Veo Camera app

Available for Veo Cam 2, Veo Cam 3 and Veo Cam 3 5G.png

The Delayed Start feature allows you to schedule your Veo Cam to automatically begin recording up to 45 minutes in advance. This gives you more time to focus on preparing for the game without needing to manually start the recording.

Requirements:

  • iOS: 3.4.5
  • Android: 3.3.0 or newer
  • Veo Cam firmware: 3.3.0 or newer

How to set a Delayed Start:

  • Power on the camera and place it on the tripod in the correct recording position. Check this article for more instructions to properly Set up for recording.
  • Open the Veo Camera App on your mobile device and connect to your camera.
  • Tap the clock icon located to the right of the record button.
  • Select your desired start time—you can schedule up to 45 minutes ahead.
  • Tap Set Timer to confirm.

Note: After setting the timer, the camera will begin counting down. You do not need to stay connected to the app— the recording will start automatically.

After the timer starts:

  • The camera will automatically begin recording when the countdown ends.
  • If you’re within Bluetooth range, you’ll receive a notification once recording starts.
  • If you’re out of range, the app will prompt you to move closer to verify the camera status.

What happens next:

The recording will proceed as usual. No further manual interaction is required, until you need to stop the recording.
