The Bringing Devices Together feature in iOS 17 allows for quick content sharing between nearby iPhones. However, when using the Veo Go app to record football matches, this feature can cause unintended disruptions if two iPhones are mounted on the same tripod. To ensure smooth and uninterrupted recording, we recommend disabling this feature.
How to Disable Bringing Devices Together
- Open Settings:
- On your iPhone, open the Settings app.
- Navigate to AirDrop:
- Tap on General.
- Select AirDrop.
- Turn Off "Bringing Devices Together":
- Locate the Bringing Devices Together setting.
- Toggle the switch to the off position.
Once disabled, your iPhone will no longer attempt to connect automatically when near another device, preventing recording interruptions.
ℹ️ Additional Information
What is "Bringing Devices Together"?
This feature allows iPhones to share content by simply being in close proximity. While convenient for quick file transfers, it can disrupt Veo Go recordings when multiple iPhones are used near each other.
Why Does This Cause Interruptions?
When two iPhones are placed close together, they may repeatedly attempt to connect, leading to recording pauses or stops in the Veo Go app.
Will Disabling This Feature Affect Other Functions?
No. You can still manually share files using AirDrop by selecting the content and choosing a recipient from your contacts.
How to Re-enable the Feature?
If you need this feature again, after finishing the Veo Go recording, simply follow the same steps and toggle the switch back on.
