Setting up Veo Go is simple and fast, allowing you to capture football matches using just your iPhones. This guide provides step-by-step instructions from assembling your equipment to recording your match. Follow along to ensure a seamless experience.

Veo Go is currently available only in the UK and is compatible exclusively with iPhones.
Recording Checklist (Pre-Match Day)
Ensure you have these essentials ready before match day for a smooth setup and recording:

Tripod & Rig:
- A tripod and phone rig are required for recording. Ensure you have these from your package.

Veo Go App:
- Install the Veo Go app on your primary iPhone or iPad (Controller device).
- Log in using the account associated with your active Veo Go subscription.

Two Additional iPhones:
- You’ll need two iPhones to serve as cameras on match day.
- These can belong to teammates—just ensure they install the Veo Go app beforehand.
- Only the Controller device requires a subscription login; the other devices can join as Guests.
Recording Guide (Match Day)
To start a new recording, open the Veo Go app on your Controller device, tap +, and select Controller.
Follow these steps:
Step 1: Assemble the Tripod & Rig

Attach Phone Rig:
- Securely attach the phone rig to the tripod by rotating it firmly.

Set Up Tripod:
- Unfold and fully extend tripod legs for stability.
- Position tripod 2-3 meters behind the pitch centerline.
- Ensure the sun is behind the cameras to minimize glare.

Step 2: Prepare & Mount Cameras

Gather Two iPhones:
- Ensure both have the Veo Go app installed and running.
- They can join as Guests or login with their own Veo accounts.
- Select Camera role on both devices.

Clean Camera Lenses:
- Wipe lenses clean for the best video quality.

Secure Phones to Rig:
- Attach phones to the rig.
- Use provided rubber bands to fasten them securely.
Once completed, tap Next on the Controller device.
Step 3: Connect Cameras
- After the other devices select the role of camera they will appear as available devices to connect.
- On your Controller device, tap Connect and accept the connection on each camera phone.

After successfully connecting, tap Next.
Step 4: Select a team
- You can assign a team under your Clubhouse with a Veo Go subscription, ensuring that recordings are automatically assigned to it once processed.
- If you have only one team under your Clubhouse with a Veo Go subscription, your Veo Go recordings will be assigned to that team by default.
Step 5: Extend Tripod
- Raise the tripod to its maximum height.
- Secure the tripod with a heavy object like a sports bag or the provided water bag.
Step 6: Ensure Full Field Visibility
- The Controller device will show live views from both cameras. The final recording will combine both views.
- Confirm the left camera captures the left field and the right captures the right field; tap Swap if needed.
- If field corners aren’t fully visible, reposition the tripod further back.
Step 7: Start/End Recording

Start Recording:
- You will get an estimate on how much you can record, this is based on the camera devices battery level and available storage.
- Tap the red record button on the Controller device.
- You don't need to be connected to the app the whole time, you can close the app and reconnect once you're ready to stop the recording.

End Recording:
- Tap the red stop button on the Controller device and confirm.
- If the Controller is unavailable, lower the tripod and stop recording directly from the cameras.
Important Recording Tips
- Avoid moving the tripod during recording.
- After 10 seconds, the camera preview blurs and enters standby mode to save battery. Tap to reactivate.
- If the Controller device disconnects, the recording continues. It can reconnect or be stopped manually from the cameras.
- Recording stops automatically if the cameras run out of battery or storage.
