Veo supports a wide range of sports, but available features and experiences vary depending on the sport you are recording. This guide explains which features are available for each sport and important notes to keep in mind when using Veo products.
What different sports get
Football (Soccer), Rugby, and Lacrosse provide access to the widest range of Veo features and capabilities. The table below explains this better.

AI Events:
- In Football, AI-detected events appear in the Event Feed inside the Veo Editor, making it easy to find key moments.
Note: Event Feed is not available for Starter subscriptions. - In Rugby and Lacrosse, AI-detected events are shown in the Clips Feed, so you can still easily navigate important moments.
AI Clips:
- In Rugby and Lacrosse, "Start Period" and "End Period" events are added as timestamps, not full clips. This helps you jump to the start or end of a period without filling your Clips Feed with extra clips.
- You can always manually create clips from these timestamps if you want to save key moments.

⚠️ Important Notes
- Subscription Limitations: If you're on the Starter plan, some features will not be available — including AI-detected events, Events feed, AI clips, add-ons compatibility, drawing tools, lineup, journal, and the Speedrun feature.
- Creating Clips: No matter which sport you're recording, you can always create your own clips manually. If your sport has the Interactive Player feature only, you can still create Interactive clips easily.
- Downloading Recordings: If your recording uses only the Interactive Player, the full recording can't be downloaded. However, Directed Clips can be downloaded for saving and sharing.
