AI-generated clips are automatically created highlights from your sports recordings using Veo’s artificial intelligence. This guide explains which clips are generated for each sport, how to access and manage them, and how to make edits or duplicates if needed.
Requirements
- A Team, Club, or Enterprise Veo subscription
- A recorded match on a compatible Veo Camera (Veo Cam 2 or later)
- A sport supported by AI-generated clips (see below)
What Are AI-Generated Clips?
AI-generated clips are short video highlights automatically identified by Veo’s AI. These clips capture key moments such as goals, shots, or scrums, depending on the sport.
You can find them in the Clips tab of your recording once the video has been processed. This is shown by the camera symbol on the right-hand menu.
When and Where Do Clips Appear?
After you upload a match, Veo processes the video and automatically generates clips. These will appear in the Clips tab once the video is ready.
Note: Processing time may vary depending on match length and platform load. You'll receive a notification when clips are ready.

Managing AI-Generated Clips
AI-generated clips are automatically saved and cannot be edited directly. To modify one, duplicate it and then make your changes.
To Delete a Clip
- Click the three dots ⋮ next to the clip.
- Select Delete Clip.
To Duplicate and Edit a Clip
- Click the three dots ⋮ next to the clip.
- Select Duplicate Clip.
- Edit the new version freely—trim, rename, or add comments.
- You can choose which properties to copy over when duplicating.
Quick Tip
Use duplicated clips to create personalized highlights, coaching notes, or social content. You can also tag players in them so that the clip appears in their Player Profile.

Football-Specific Features
In football recordings, Veo not only saves clips for goals and shots, but also detects detailed Match Events.
Note: These events are separate from AI clips and include fouls, corners, offsides, and more. They are stored in the Events tab, which is flagged with the bullet-point list symbol on the right-hand menu.

Q: Can I turn off AI-generated clips?
A: Not currently, but you can delete any clip you don’t need.
