AI-generated clips are automatically created highlights from your sports recordings using Veo’s artificial intelligence. This guide explains how the clips work by sport, where to find them, and how to manage or edit them.
Requirements
- An active Veo subscription
- A recorded match on Veo Cam 2 or newer
- A supported sport (see list below)
What are AI-generated clips?
AI-generated clips are short highlights automatically detected by Veo’s AI. These may include goals, shots, scrums, and more—depending on the sport.
Once the video is processed, the clips appear under the Clips tab (camera icon on the right-hand menu).
When and where do clips appear?
After uploading a match, Veo processes the footage and generates highlights automatically. These are available once the video is fully processed.
Note: Processing time varies depending on video length and server load. You'll get a notification when clips are ready.

Managing AI-generated clips
AI clips are saved automatically and cannot be directly edited. However, you can duplicate any clip and make changes to the copy.
To delete a clip
- Click the three dots ⋮ next to the clip.
- Select Delete Clip.
To duplicate and edit a clip
- Click the three dots ⋮ next to the clip.
- Select Duplicate Clip.
- Edit the new version—rename, trim, or add comments as needed.
- You can choose which properties to include when duplicating.
Quick Tip
Use duplicated clips to personalize highlights, add coaching notes, or create social media content. You can also tag players so the clip appears in their Player Profile.

Football-specific features
For football, Veo also detects detailed Match Events such as fouls, corners, and offsides—separate from AI-generated clips.
Note: These events are found in the Events tab (bullet-point list icon in the right-hand menu).
Frequently asked questions
Q: Can I turn off AI-generated clips?
A: Not at the moment. However, you can delete any clips you don't need.
