To live stream, you need the Veo Live Add-on Subscription.
This guide explains how to live stream multiple games using several Veo cameras to a single YouTube channel at the same time.
To do this, you will need to schedule streams in advance and generate unique stream keys for each stream.
Step 1: Set Up YouTube as a Streaming Destination
- First, configure the YouTube account you want to stream to.
To do this, log in to your Veo account at app.veo.co and select Veo Live from the menu on the left. This will take you to the Streaming Destinations page. - Click Setup next to the YouTube icon. Turn on the toggle for Request stream key when starting live stream and click Confirm.
Step 2: Schedule the Streams on YouTube
Next, go to YouTube.com to schedule the different streams.
- Go to YouTube.com and start a live stream by clicking the camera icon and selecting Go Live.
- Click Manage in the left-side menu and select Schedule Stream.
- Go through the setup steps and add details about your stream to make it easier for viewers to find.
- Once the stream is scheduled, locate the Stream Key for that stream. Copy and save it somewhere convenient (we recommend using a notes app on the phone you use to control the Veo cameras).
- Repeat these steps to schedule live streams for each match you plan on streaming simultaneously.
Step 3: Start the Live Streams
- Connect to the camera via the Veo Camera App, ensure the camera is connected to the internet, and click Go Live.
- Add the Match Details and click Next.
- Select YouTube as your streaming destination and paste the Stream Key you copied from YouTube into the provided text box.
- Finally, Swipe to Go Live to start the live stream.
The camera is now live streaming to YouTube on the scheduled stream. Note that there is a delay of around 60 seconds before the stream becomes viewable on YouTube.
To start another stream with a different Veo Cam, repeat Step 2 and Step 3 from this guide.
Keep in Mind
To set up multiple streams simultaneously on YouTube, you need multiple cameras. A single Veo Cam can't stream to multiple destinations at the same time.
