Our engineers are always enhancing our products and your Veo experience. We regularly send software updates to your Veo Cam 3 to improve performance, fix bugs, and ensure smooth operation.
You don’t need to update the software actively. Once your camera is connected to the internet, Veo will schedule software updates for it when necessary.

How to connect your Veo Cam 3 to a Wi-fi network.
Note: You only need to connect to a WiFi network once; the Veo Cam will remember the connection and automatically connect to it when available.
Once connected to a wi-fi network:
- Ensure the Veo Cam 3 is turned on.
- Connect the camera to power.
- The camera will automatically start updating the software version if a new update has been released.
Make sure the camera is connected to the internet for a minimum of 30 minutes to finish installing the new software update.

To check your Veo Cam 3's software version, follow these steps:
- Open the Veo Camera app.
- Connect to your Veo Cam 3.
- On the main page, go to settings in the top right corner.
- If using the Android app, scroll to the bottom. Here, you can see the firmware version the camera is running on.
If using the iOS app, go to Information; here, you will find details about the camera, including the firmware version.
