This article shows you all you need to know about Player Stats in the Analytics Studio.
Requirements: Veo Analytics add-on subscription.
What is it?:
Veo Player Stats is a feature within the Veo Analytics suite that provides statistics for individual players. It features a stats table displaying all players on the team, along with various data points that can be customized to fit your needs.
Using statistical team and player data, coaches can make more informed decisions, enhance the game's quality, and create richer viewing experiences for fans and players.
The player stats table gets data from the Lineup and Events data in each of your match recordings.
Therefore, it’s essential that you enter the lineup and assign players to events when reviewing your matches.
Invite players to your team to add them to your lineup and events and to see them in this stats table.
How to access it:
- Log in to your account at app.veo.co, and make sure you are in the right Clubhouse, if you're part of more than one.
- On the left side panel, go to Analytics Studio.
- Now you will see Team Stats and Player Stats. You can switch teams, use filters, and edit the columns to display the information you want.
How it works:
Get stats for your players by adding them to the lineup in your matches and tagging them in the events they were involved in.
- Invite players to your team.
- Enter your lineup.
- Assign players to events.
- Access the Player Stats in the Analytics Studio.
In the Veo Editor, every time you create an event and assign a player to it, the event is added to the player's stats in the Analytics Studio.
For instance, if a player is assigned to 7 goal events, the goal column in the stats table will show 7 goals for that player.
You can customize the table and choose which data you want displayed in your columns for each team.
Use Edit columns to display the information that you want. The columns will be sorted from left to right in the table in the order you select them.
What can Player Stats help you with:
Analyzing statistics helps pinpoint strengths and areas needing improvement. Metrics like the number of shots taken and conversion rate can guide the development of training programs.
