At Veo, we are committed to ensuring your camera stays in top condition. This guide explains our repair and service policy, including coverage, repair eligibility, costs, and replacement options.

Glossary

Right to Claim: This covers the first year from the product’s delivery date. During this period, Veo provides free repair or replacement for manufacturing defects.

Refurbished Camera: A pre-owned Veo Cam that has been thoroughly inspected, repaired, and restored to its original specifications. The process includes replacing worn or damaged parts, deep cleaning, and rigorous testing to ensure the camera performs like new. Choosing a refurbished Veo Cam allows you to save money without compromising quality.

Veo Cam 1

  • Veo Cam 1 is no longer covered by the Right to Claim or our repair policy.
  • If the Veo Cam 1 is older than 3 years, we offer a paid upgrade to a refurbished Veo Cam 3.

Veo Cam 2

  • Right to Claim period: 1 year since delivery date.
  • Paid repair services are available for manufacturing defects in Year 2 and Year 3.
  • A paid refurbished Veo Cam 3 is offered if the camera is broken, damaged, disassembled, or tampered with.
  • If the Veo Cam 2 is older than 3 years, we offer a paid upgrade to a refurbished Veo Cam 3.
  • We do not offer pickups for broken/damaged Veo Cam 2s.

Veo Cam 3 & Veo Cam 3 5G

  • Right to Claim period: 1 year since delivery date.
  • Paid repair services are available for manufacturing defects in Year 2 and Year 3.
  • A paid refurbished Veo Cam 3 is offered if the camera is broken, damaged, disassembled, or tampered with.
  • We do not offer pickups for broken/damaged Veo Cam 3s with a red G-force meter.

Tripods

  • Right to Claim period: 1 year.
  • Veo does not repair tripods.
  • For Veo Carbon Fiber tripods, spare parts are available for up to 3 years from the delivery date.
  • For Manfrotto tripods, spare parts are available only while stocks last, as these tripods are no longer covered under the Right to Claim.
  • A paid replacement is required for broken, damaged, disassembled, or tampered tripods.

FAQs

What is covered in the first three years after product delivery?

Year 1: Right to Claim

  • Veo will attempt to repair the Veo Cam at no cost.
  • If repair is not possible and the Veo Cam has not been tampered with or damaged, a refurbished replacement is provided free of charge.
  • For tripods, available spare parts are offered (only for Veo Carbon Fiber tripods).

Years 2 & 3:

  • Paid repair services are available for manufacturing defects.
  • If repair is not possible, a paid refurbished Veo Cam 3 is offered.
  • For tripods, only spare parts for Veo Carbon Fiber tripods are provided.
What is not covered under the repair and service policy?

Year 1-3:

  • Veo Cam 3 with a red G-force meter (indicating a severe impact).
  • Broken, disassembled, or tampered Veo Cams or tripods.
  • Veo Cams bought second-hand from third parties.
When is a Veo Cam eligible for repair?

We only repair Veo Cams that:

  • Are within 3 years of the delivery date.
  • Have no visible damage or tampering.
  • Do not have a red G-force meter (Veo Cam 3).
What are the repair costs?
  • Year 1: Free for manufacturing defects.
  • Years 2-3: 200 EUR for battery issues, 350 EUR for other components.
What happens if my Veo Cam cannot be repaired?

If your Veo Cam has manufacturing defects but cannot be repaired:

  • In Year 1, a free replacement Veo Cam 3 is provided.
  • In Years 2-3, a paid refurbished Veo Cam 3 is offered.
What is the cost of a refurbished Veo Cam 3?
  • The cost of a refurbished Veo Cam 3 (non-5G) is 579 EUR.
  • The cost of a refurbished Veo Cam 3 with 5G is 749 EUR.
Am I covered by the repair and service policy if I receive a refurbished replacement Veo Cam?

Yes, your refurbished Veo Cam is covered under the same repair and service policy as a new device, as long as the issue is due to a manufacturing defect.

Do I have to pay a shipping fee to send my Veo Cam back to Veo for repair?
  • Year 1: During the right of claim period, Veo will cover the shipping fee.
  • Years 2-3: The shipping fee is included in the repair cost.
  • We do not cover shipping costs for broken or faulty Veo Cams that users request to be sent back after inspection.
