Veo’s recording storage policy defines how long your game recordings are kept on your Clubhouse based on your subscription plan. This guide explains the storage periods for each plan, how to track your recordings’ expiration dates, and what steps you can take to save your full games before they are automatically deleted.

How Veo's Storage Policy Works

Your game recordings are stored according to the retention period for your subscription plan:

  • Family, Team, Club, Club+, and Enterprise plans: Recordings are stored for 12 months.
  • Starter plan: Recordings are stored for 6 months.

After the retention period, recordings will be automatically deleted from Veo.

Viewing Expiration Dates

In the Recordings section of your Veo Clubhouse, you can easily see when each recording is nearing its expiration date.

You can also use filters to quickly find games that are close to expiring.

Note: You will receive a notification 30 days before a recording is set to expire, giving you time to download and save any recordings you want to keep.

Saved Clips Are Always Safe

Your saved clips won't be deleted. This means that your best moments will still be available in your games and on Player Profiles—as long as you've created or saved clips.

Why This Policy Matters

Our data shows that less than 1% of game recordings are accessed after six months, and only a tiny fraction of users revisit these games. Managing our storage more efficiently allows us to significantly reduce our carbon footprint, supporting our sustainability goals.

How to Keep Your Full Recordings

Note: No action is required unless you want to keep your full recordings longer than the standard retention period.

If you wish to save your games, you can download them to your device before they expire.

What if I need to store games for longer?

We are developing a subscription option for extended storage retention at a premium fee depending on your base plan. This feature is not available yet, so we recommend downloading the games you want to keep.

Can I bulk-download all my games?

No, bulk downloading games is not currently possible.

What happens if my subscription expires?

You will still have access to your recordings for the remaining storage period.

Is the storage period the same even if I'm on a monthly subscription?

Yes, the storage policy is the same regardless of your subscription frequency.
