How to import a match from the League Exchange into your Clubhouse

This article explains how to import match recordings from your League Exchange into your Veo Clubhouse for analysis and review.

Veo League Exchange enables teams to share and exchange match recordings within their league.

If your team participated in a match that was recorded by another team, you can view the video through the League Exchange and import it into your Veo Clubhouse. This makes it easy to review and analyze league matches alongside your own recordings.

Note: Only matches recorded with a Veo camera can be imported.

Requirements

  • You must have Admin or Editor permissions in the League Exchange
  • The match must have been recorded with a Veo camera

How to import a match

  1. Go to your League Exchange and find the match you want to import.

    League Exchange match import view
  2. Click the three-dot menu () next to the match and select Import.

Note: If you do not see the Import option, it may be for one of the following reasons:

    • The match was not recorded with a Veo camera
    • The video was originally recorded with Veo, but was downloaded and then manually re-uploaded to the League Exchange

In this last case, the system does not recognize the recording as a native Veo video, and the Import option will not be available.

To fix this, the video must be shared directly to the League Exchange from your Veo account’s Recordings list. Follow the steps in this article: How to share a video with a League Exchange from your Veo account

  3. Select the Clubhouse you want to import the video into.
  4. Click Add to my recordings.

    Add to My Recordings

  5. Go to your Clubhouse and find the imported video under Recordings.

You can now watch and analyze the match just like your own team’s recordings.

Note: It is not currently possible to use Veo Analytics or Player Spotlights on imported League Exchange recordings.

FAQ

I don’t see the Import button in the recording—why?

If the Import option is missing, it’s likely due to one of the following:

  • The video was not recorded with a Veo camera
  • The video was downloaded and re-uploaded manually to League Exchange

In the second case, the system no longer recognizes the video as a native Veo recording. To enable importing, the recording must be shared directly from the Veo account’s Recordings tab. Learn how to do that here.

The system says the video is already imported to the Clubhouse, but I can’t find it—what should I do?

When a match is imported, it may be assigned to a specific team within your Clubhouse. If you're not a member of that team, you won’t see the recording in your list.

Ask a Clubhouse Admin to check the Recordings section for all teams in the Clubhouse. They can reassign the video to the correct team if needed.

Can I use Veo Analytics or Player Spotlights on imported matches?

No. Imported League Exchange recordings do not currently support Veo Analytics or Player Spotlights. These features are only available on your team’s original recordings.

Can I import a match more than once?

No, a match can only be imported once into a specific Clubhouse. Once imported, other members of the same Clubhouse will see the recording if they belong to the assigned team.

Who can import a match from League Exchange?

Only users with Admin or Editor permissions in the League Exchange can import videos into a Clubhouse.
