How to live stream with Veo Cam

This article guides you through how to live-stream with Veo Cam 2 and Veo Cam 3 (including 5G models), using either a nano SIM card or a WiFi connection.

Requirements

  • Your Veo Cam 2 or Veo Cam 3 is registered to your Veo Clubhouse
  • You have purchased the Live-Streaming add-on with your Veo Subscription
  • You have the Veo Camera app installed on your smartphone or tablet and are logged in
  • Stable and fast upload internet speed is available

Internet options

You can connect your Veo Cam 2 or Veo Cam 3 to the internet in the following ways:

WiFi Network

Connect your Veo Cam to a WiFi network by following the instructions in this article: How to connect your Veo Cam to a WiFi network. You can also use a phone as a hotspot.

Nano SIM card connection

This option is available for Veo Cam 2 and Veo Cam 3 5G.

Ensure your SIM card is activated and has no PIN. Contact your data provider if unsure.

Live-streaming requires at least 5 Mbps upload speed and around 7 GB data per match (110 minutes).

Tip:

If you are using a device as a hotspot to connect to the internet, keep it as close to the camera as possible at all times to ensure a stable connection during the match.

How to start a live-stream

Once your Veo Cam is connected to the internet, follow these steps to go live:

  1. Attach the camera to the tripod and place it on the centerline, 3–5 meters from the sideline, with the sun behind it. Extend it to full height.
  2. Connect to your camera using the Veo Camera app.
  3. Verify internet access in the camera view—look for 4G, 5G, or WiFi connection indicators.

  4. Tap Go Live.
  5. Enter match details and tap Next.

  6. Select your streaming destination. For details, visit: External Streaming Destinations. Then tap Next.

  7. Review the live checklist. The system may auto-detect pitch corners. If manual setup is needed, refer to: Corner selection. Swipe to go live.

Ending the live-stream

To stop streaming, tap Stop Livestreaming and confirm.

Recording and saving

While streaming, your Veo Cam also records the match. After streaming ends, assign match details and save the video to your Clubhouse.
