This guide explains how to record with Veo Cam 2 and Veo Cam 3 using the Veo Camera app. It includes step-by-step instructions for turning on your camera, connecting it to your phone, starting/stopping recordings, and uploading footage to the Veo platform.
Requirements
- A charged Veo Cam
- The Veo Camera app installed on your phone:
- You must be logged in with your Veo account and be part of the Clubhouse where the camera is registered under
- Bluetooth enabled on your phone
Turn on your Veo Cam
For both Veo Cam 2 and Veo Cam 3:
- Press the power button for 1 second to turn on the camera.
- Wait for the status lights to become solid—this means the camera is ready to connect.
Connect to the camera with the Veo Camera app
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
- Open the Veo Camera app.
- Follow the instructions to connect your phone to the camera.
- Once connected, the app will display the Record button.
Tip: When using iOS, you can access the Instant Playback feature after 45 seconds. This feature is not currently available on Android.
Start and stop recording
- Tap the Record button in the app to begin recording.
- Once recording starts, you can put your phone away and focus on the game.
- After the match, reopen the app and tap to stop the recording.
- You will then have the option to add match details before saving the footage:
Note: The recording is stored on the camera until you upload it to the Veo Editor.
Live stream option
If you choose to live stream the match, the camera will automatically record the full event. Once the match is over, the recording can be uploaded to the platform as usual.
