Learn how to interpret the LED indicators on the back of your Veo Cam 3 and understand what each pattern means. This guide also helps you take the right action based on the light status—whether your camera is ready, charging, or needs attention.

Where to find the LED indicators
The LED indicators are located on the back of the Veo Cam 3. There are five lights in total:
- The first two indicate the camera’s operational status.
- The last three show the battery level or charging progress.
Camera Status Indicators
Booting
The first two LEDs blink alternately when the camera is turning on or off. Once the LEDs stop blinking and remain solid, the camera has completed the process.
Wait for solid lights before attempting to use the camera.
Ready
Two solid green LEDs indicate the camera is powered on and ready. You can now open the Veo Camera app to begin recording or live-streaming.
Busy
Alternating or blinking lights (other than boot-up) mean the camera is performing an action such as recording, live-streaming, uploading, or updating.
Tip: Avoid powering off or unplugging the camera during this phase.
Error
If the LEDs blink red or display a flashing error pattern, the camera has failed to boot properly or encountered a critical issue.
Solution: Hold the power button for 15 seconds to force a restart. If the error persists, contact Support for assistance.
Battery Fully Drained
If no lights appear at all or if a single red light flashes, the battery may be completely drained.
Solution: Connect the camera to a power source using the official charging cable and leave it charging for at least 30 minutes before retrying.
Battery Level Indicators
The last three LEDs on the back of your Veo Cam 3 show the battery level or charging status. Use the chart below to interpret their meaning.

Note: Pulsing lights indicate that the camera is actively charging.
