The different views in the Veo Editor: Follow-cam and Interactive Player

Learn how to switch between the Follow-cam view and the Interactive player view when watching your Veo recordings.


Viewing Options in the Veo Video Player

When watching your Veo recordings, you can choose between two viewing options:

  • Follow-cam View: The camera automatically follows the ball, providing a dynamic and immersive experience.
  • Interactive Player View: Take control of the view, zoom in and out, and change angles to focus on different areas of the pitch.

Default View and Switching to Interactive Player

After the recording has been fully processed, by default, it opens in the Follow-cam view. To switch to the Interactive player view:

  • Click on the Interactive player icon (Interactive player icon) located in the bottom right corner of the video.
  • Once in Interactive view, additional options such as Panoramic mode become available, allowing a full-field overview.

Returning to Follow-cam View

To switch back to the Follow-cam view:

  • Click the X at the top right corner of the video.

Important Notes on Interactive Player View

  • Time-limited Access: Interactive mode is available for 90 days after processing. If your video is archived, follow the steps in this guide to restore it.
  • No Shortcuts: Keyboard shortcuts work only in Follow-cam view. Learn more in this article.
  • Limited UI Elements: The timer, scoreboard, and 2D map (for Veo Analytics users) are not visible in Interactive mode.
  • Can't be downloaded: the Interactive Player view can't be downloaded.
