Once the invitation has been created, an activation email will be sent to the invited member. The team member then needs to accept the invitation through the email to join the team.

🀚🏻 The invited member can't find the email?

Sometimes, the activation emails can end up in the email spam filter. Please try looking for it here.

STEP 2 – Watch your recordings

Once you have chosen a recording, you can watch it in 3 different views: broadcast, panoramic, and interactive view:

Follow-cam / Broadcast view

The follow-cam view is the processed recording, following the ball and action on the pitch – this is the view you know from watching sports on TV.

The follow-cam view will become available up to 8 hours after completed upload of football and 24 hours for other sports. This is the default mode when you open any recording.

When you're in broadcast view, you can navigate back and forth between the previous and next highlight:

To switch from broadcast to panoramic- and interactive view, click on the icon in the bottom right corner of the video player:

Panoramic view

Panoramic view allows you to see the entire pitch in one shot. This view is great for achieving the complete overview of your players and their positioning. You can access it by clicking on the first icon in the top left corner:

Interactive view

In interactive view, you can control the camera to watch your match from any angle. Use the mouse to change the angle or zoom in to see a specific play in detail. Click on the second icon to access the interactive view:

You can also watch your recordings at 6 different speeds:

1. Click on the 2X symbol

2. Choose which playback rate you would like the recording to be played with

STEP 3 – Assign your recording to a team

First off, you'll want to click on the three dots in the top right corner of the video player and select Edit.

You can assign the recording to a specific team by choosing the team in the drop-down menu from Your team. The members of this team will now be able to watch the recording.

πŸ‘‰πŸ» Please note that assigning recordings to a team is only possible for administrators in the club (Club, Coach, Player, and Other Admins).

STEP 4 – Add Highlights

Automatic highlights

For football matches, Veo automatically marks goals, half start, and half end as highlights. You can Save or Delete the automatically detected highlights:

πŸ‘‰πŸ» Please note that the automatically detected highlights must be saved by an Admin or Editor in the team to become visible to the team members with Viewer permission.

Create your own highlights and comments

You can add your own highlights as well.

1. Click New Highlight next to the video of the match or use keyboard shortcut H:

The Create highlight form will appear:

2. Choose the type of the highlight, add tags, tag a player(s), write a comment, and decide whether you want the highlight to be private to the team or public.

3. Click Create and the highlight will appear next to the video of the match.

You can also create Directed Highlights and Draw on Screen Highlights:

STEP 5 – Share your recording

There are 3 options for sharing your recordings through the Veo platform.

First of all, you can share your recording on Facebook or via link:

To get to both these features, the initial steps are the same:

1. Choose the recording you wish to share

2. Click on the Share button above the video player

From here, the following window will pop up and you can choose whether you would like to export the recording to Facebook or share it via link.

Sharing the recording to Facebook

From the window above, click on the Facebook icon.

A Facebook tab will now open, allowing you to write a caption, selecting where to share the recording and more.

🀚🏻 Please note that it is not possible to share highlights directly to Facebook, only full recordings.

To share the recording via link, click on the Copy link icon.

A new window opens from which you can copy the link.

πŸ‘‰πŸ» When sharing the link, you can choose to include the timecode.

This means that the recording will start at the exact time chosen when the receiver opens the link. Simply tick off the box Include timecode to use this feature.

When the link has been copied, it can be shared with whomever you wish.

πŸ‘‰πŸ» Please note that the recordings must be set as Public when sharing via Facebook and link. Otherwise, viewers won't be able to access the recording.

Sharing the recording with an opponent

1. Click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the video player

2. Choose Share with opponent

3. A new window will show up, where you can insert the email address of the person you’d like to share the match with.

πŸ‘‰πŸ» It’s possible to send multiple invitations so all opponent team members can see the game. However, we recommend that you invite one person from the opponent team for that person to then invite the rest of the members.
